Full-Time Maya Chocolate Class Leaders

Ajaw Chocolate & Crafts is a family-owned business dedicated to the authentic preservation of Maya cacao traditions. We are looking for three team members to lead our immersive chocolate-making classes.
This is a role for a storyteller and a craftsman. You will lead guests through the traditional process—from grinding organic beans on stone to the final pour of a spiced cacao drink—ensuring every visitor leaves with a deeper connection to our culture.
The Role
Lead the Experience: Welcome international and local guests into our space with warmth and professionalism.
Teach the Craft: Guide visitors through the hands-on process of grinding cacao and preparing traditional recipes.
Share the History: Narrate the rich cultural and historical significance of cacao in the Maya world.
Maintain the Space: Ensure the workshop environment is pristine, organized, and ready for the next group.

- Fluent in English: Clear communication is essential; Spanish or other languages are a significant asset.
